Persian or Indian round shield Persian round shield 19th century. Ironwork and gold. Arched shield with floral decoration cut in the center and inlaid with gold. Brass-reinforced rim with silver-inlaid inscription cartouches all around, the four gold-inlaid shield bosses with fastening eyelets on the back. Beautiful, slightly patinated condition.
