"Hunter" 19th to early 20th century
Patinated bronze group depicting a hunter in classical attire, standing beside a fallen deer and sounding a horn while holding a spear. The dynamic composition captures a moment of triumph following the hunt, rendered with finely detailed surfaces and a strong narrative quality. The muscular figure and naturalistic treatment of the animal emphasize vitality and movement. Mounted on a shaped marble base with veining. Signed on the base (partially illegible). Likely late 19th to early 20th century, in the tradition of European hunting sculpture.
