Flintlock pistol by "Carlson", 18th century

This flintlock pistol has a discreetly chiselled flintlock plate with the inscription "CARLSON". The base of the barrel is subsequently gilded with floral patterns. It could be dated to the years 1700-1720 and the fine workmanship of the hammer and the hammer screw are worthy of special mention. On closer inspection, repairs to the cock can be recognised.
